Insanity, day 0.5

I did 10 minutes of cardio abs. I got tired and rested and then decided to not go back into it. But! I have already gained weight (usually a sign that it's working) and my stomach is noticeably smaller. Yay!

broke the 190 lbs. mark

WOO HOO! I broke the 190 mark. I weight 189.1 now LOL. Gosh, I haven't seen that "8" come up on the 2nd digit from the left on my digital scale in a LONG time... another insane workout tonight. Hopefully I can cut down more weight =D

16 day goal!

After Vegas, I weighed in at 131 pounds. Frightening.

Today, I weighed in at 128 pounds. I've started dieting, but still haven't done any insanity workouts.

My mom just got me a new dress, that I plan on wearing August 7th, for a big party. I want to weigh 118 pounds that day.

10 pounds, 16 days

Let the extreme dieting and working out begin!

breakfast- 1 cup veggies, 1 cup eggs and tofu (1 veggie, 1 protein)

lunch - same thing as breakfast (1 veggie, 1 protein)

snack - slice of asian honey cake and cup of soy milk (1 carb, 1 dairy)

Lunch 7/19

Straight up, no kidding. I'm full today off of 3 slices of turkey, a bowl of salad, and 2 little blocks of soybean curd. Oh, and no dressing... just plain salad... I think I'm losing the desire for flavor hahaha.

My Fit Test is Today

Hopefully my fit test will gauge that I have done well with this workout so far. I personally feel an improvement, just don't know for sure.

Monday- day 1 of phase 1 (1 of 28)

I'm following the diet plan in p90x, I figure its similar enough to insanity.

proteins- 5
dairy- 2
fruit- 1
vegetables- 2
fats- 1
carbs- 1
snacks- 3
condiments- 1

first meal - 2 cups tofu and eggs (3 protein)

snack -  2 handful of chips (2 carbs) yikes!

snack - 1 mango (1 fruit)

dinner - rice with greens and duck ( 1 carb, 2 protein, 2 veggie, 1 fat )

- I wonder.. can the extra carbs count as my 'snack' intake?

Today!

Hopefully starting insanity program today. I need to lose like 15 pounds of fat and gain a few pounds of muscle.

Breakfast (2pm)

  • packet of cashews, 320 calories
Lunch 3pm

  • fish spring rolls, too many of them
Dinner 10pm

  • more fish spring rolls, too many of them again
I really need to figure out what to eat for the insanity diet.  The good news is that I jogged about 2 miles and played a little bit of frisbee, so hopefully that counters the bad diet.

I've started a 60 day workout program called "Insanity"


Holy shit, 2 days into it and i'm feeling like I want to quit already... After my workout last night I looked at this man and I said "I hate you"...

That being said, I've been eating nothing but salads for lunch and dinner and yogurt or cereal in the morning for the past few days. It's been working out pretty well.

*On a side note: I got my blood test result back from the doctors, he said my liver ailment is back (fatty liver)... which means more exercise, no more booze, and only really healthy food for the rest of my LIFE...

I guess this is nature's way to keep me fit. I'm not even that fat of a guy, sheesh... 5'10" 193 lbs.
